The name says it all – this is a cheap dormitory-style hostel for those who are on a budget or just really really like bunk beds. With prices starting at 2200 yen per night, it’s pretty hard to find a better deal in Tokyo. Weekly and monthly discounts apply. The hostel is aimed not only at budget travelers but “For people who are not good at socializing” and “For a person who lives a rather lonely and uneasy life.” Kids are also allowed but must be at least six years old.
Showers and kitchen are shared, and dorm rooms are six-up and eight-up, and there are laundry facilities on site. Dorms are sex-segregated with female-only floors available and shared computers open for use in the common room, as well as wifi throughout. Be advised: there is a “lock-out” period from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. where guests have to leave the premises for cleaning.
